The unique combination of warm days and cool nights, sandy loam soils and old vines foster smaller sized berries. These lower yields lead to the unrivaled flavor found in Brazin Zinfandel – concentrated and bold with intense color and exceptional balance.

ZINFANDEL — AN AMERICAN ORIGINAL

Zinfandel is an American original in name and expression, boldly weaving its way into our history and our winemaking. The Gold Rush era ushered in Zinfandel’s first wave in California and Lodi became its headquarters. Italian immigrants settled on Lodi’s west side and planted Zinfandel widely, making it popular with home winemakers. The Old Vine Zinfandel vineyards planted then are now over 100 years old, making Lodi home to some of California’s oldest vines. Requiring little to no water with limited yields, these vines produce grapes that are rich and robust with delicious intensity.
