About Brazin Vineyards
A portion of our grapes come from the Cusamano vineyard located in the Mokelumne River AVA of Lodi where Zinfandel grapes
thrive in the region's Mediterranean climate and sandy soils. The head-trained vines are truly "old" with an average age
between 30 and 80 years. Using a flood technique, the vineyard is only irrigated twice a year. This deficit irrigation
process causes the vines to be stressed during key stages of its growth cycle which results in smaller berries that produce
more intense flavors.
